Here was my wardrobe trick in the 1960s to be different and creative. I wanted my hip huggers to be even lower. So I cut off the waistband, soaked it and then stretched it out by laying it over the pipe in the basement and then stretched the waistband by grabbing both ends and hanging from it. Then I cut down the waist on the pants so that the zipper was an inch or so shorter, then sewed the stretched out waistband back on. Voila! Though it was a bit tricky to bend over without displaying butt crack!

That was dedication!
